It seems as though that the recession has now spread into the animal world.
A plethora of foxes, bats, antelope, deer and other animals are looking for new homes after the economy has forced Bronx's Zoo to downsize its roster of animales. (that animals in spanish, try and use in a sentence today)
According to financial reports, The Bronx Zoo is looking to close a $15 million budget shortfall, and this was the only way.
The animals won't be thrown out on the street, officials say they'll have to ship them to various zoos around the country.
I'd like a domesticated pet deer personally...I think I'll ask my wife for this as well.
